On November 1st, SurviveArt had its second fundraising art show in Los Angeles hosted by Amanda of Ace of Wands Tattoo, in San Pedro, as part of the 1st Thursday Art walk. This event raised $316 for survivors thanks to donations by local artists being purchased by art supporters.
SurviveArt donated an original painting to the silent auction hosted by American Foundation for Suicide Prevention as part of their Santa Monica "Out of the Darkness" Walk on October 20th, which sold for 250$!
In June 2017 SurviveArt hosted its first charity art show in Los Angeles at Evermore Tattoo Company. At this event we raised over $900 for Girls Educational and Mentoring Services, the UC San Francisco Foundation, and the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
SurviveArt also works to support these organizations year round by selling donated artwork online on our Art Gallery page. You can find out more about how to get involved with SurviveArt on our Get Involved page.
Charitable Organizations We Support
"Thank you for providing us free cards that we can sell here in the 'Friend to Friend Shop' at U.C.S.F. Mount Zion. The proceeds from these cards will help with our outreach to low-income women & teenage girls with cancer who can't afford a wig or a mastectomy bra while they're undergoing treatment."
- Marguerite (Margo) Wilhite, UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center
"I wanted to take a moment to say a big “THANK YOU!” on behalf of the Fundraising Team at NBCF. We are so proud of your success! Your willingness to help women facing breast cancer is so appreciated. Your support and generosity is going to help underserved women through each step – from early education to helping those diagnosed with breast cancer navigate the complex cancer care system."
